Trombo errático de la aurícula derecha
Resumen
Las tumoraciones intracardiacas son poco frecuentes, y pueden ser de tipo neoplásicas y no neoplásicas. De estas últimas, los trombos, constituyen las masas más frecuentes; se forman principalmente en la aurícula izquierda, en especial en aurículas dilatadas o con estenosis valvular, pero es infrecuente encontrar la presencia de trombos en la aurícula derecha; los trombos en dicha cavidad provienen con mayor frecuencia de la circulación venosa periférica, pero en menor proporción, son originados in situ.
Presentamos el caso de una paciente de 77 años con antecedentes patológicos personales de Hipertensión Arterial, Enfermedad Pulmonar Obstructiva Crónica y fumadora, en la que se detectó de forma casual un trombo en tránsito en la aurícula derecha. Se trata de un raro ejemplo en el que este hallazgo es diagnosticado antes de un episodio embólico.
