Myopericarditis in a patient with COVID 19
Abstract
In December 2019, several cases of severe pneumonia, caused by an unknown agent were reported in China. It was named SARS-CoV-2 and it causes COVID-19. This disease, considered a pandemic because of its high contagiousness and worldwide spread, presents cardiovascular complications in some patients. Myopericarditis is one of them. The clinical condition, the use of the electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, and markers of myocardial damage are essential for the diagnosis of this disease in a patient with COVID 19. Working in a multidisciplinary group is essential to improve medical care in these patients.Downloads
