Propuesta de actualización del protocolo de actuación para la fase de convalecencia de la rehabilitación cardíaca
Resumen
La rehabilitación cardiaca se ha convertido a través de los años en un elemento imprescindible dentro de la prevención secundaria en la atención del paciente cardiópata. Uno de sus componentes, el entrenamiento físico, ha favorecido la reducción de las hospitalizaciones, los eventos adversos no fatales y la mortalidad, así como del incremento de la capacidad funcional y la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud, por lo que es considerado la intervención de mayor evidencia científica dentro de estos programas. El objetivo de esta propuesta de actualización del protocolo, es aportar y profundizar aspectos relacionados con el entrenamiento físico sobre todo lo relacionado con las intensidades de trabajo, el entrenamiento aeróbico con intervalos intensos y el de resistencia a la fuerza muscular.
